On the 3rd August 2007 you will be able to sing with M People on your Playstation 2! Moving On Up will feature on the new game 'SingStar 90s".

M People Play Poland!

Tickets have gone on sale for a M People gig in Poland! The band will be playing at the Congress Hall in Warsaw on the 7th September 2007.

M People | Real Ale Jazz Festival | Chichester | 2007

M People played a number of concerts in June and July 2007. On Wednesday 4th July 2007 they performed an amazing gig at the Real Ale Jazz Festival in Chichester. Heather Small, Paul Heard and Shovell delivered hit after hit at the event to a very happy and up-for-it crowd!

Hakuna Pesa were the support act for M People. They are a Ska band who raise money for street kids in Kenya.

A track by Shovell is featured on a Defected album which was released this week. The track is called 'Drums of Ghodrat (Louis Benedetti Main Mix)' and is featured on the Various Artists Album 'Defected In the House - Eivissa 2007'.

Mike Pickering was mentioned in the 'Bizarre' section of 'The Sun' newspaper this week, wishing Noel Gallagher of Oasis a Happy 40th Birthday:

Former M PEOPLE star MIKE PICKERING is a regular at Man City games with Noel. Mike, who now works in A&R and signed THE GOSSIP, said: “I’m a decade older than Noel but I still look a lot better than him because I searched for the hero inside myself, and found it. Happy birthday mate.”

Heather Small will be performing the song 'Love Is Always There' from the album 'Close To A Miracle' on Songs Of Praise. The show is scheduled to be aired on July 1st, BBC 1.

Heather Small Appearances

Heather Small will be appearing live and on the TV this sumer!

On Saturday 14th July Heather will be performing at the Kings Lynn Festival:
'Heather Small of M People will be topping the bill at this years series of open-air concerts in the Tuesday Market Place. Heather Small, with her unique and distinctive voice, is probably most famous for being the voice of Manchester based band M People. The band had several big hits in the 90's, with songs such as Moving on Up and Search for The Hero.'

Heather will also be performing on Songs Of Praise again (BBC 1) which will be aired the 1st July 2007.
