Heather Small & Blue Sky Village Team Return From Rwanda & Visit Houses Of Parliament

Heather Small and the Blue Sky Village team returned from Rwanda on 7th May 2014. During their trip they visited possible locations to build a village and met with important people to discuss the project, including MP Karenzi Theoneste, a Mayor and the Rwandan Agricultural Minister.

On their return to the UK, Heather Small and Nic Careem, the founder of The Blue Sky Network, visited the Houses of Parliament to meet with Labour Leader Ed Miliband, who wrote a message in the Nelson Mandela Tribute Book.

The Blue Sky Village organisation aims to build self-sustaining villages across the world and are building the first one in Rwanda. In July, Heather Small will be performing at a charity Gala and Dinner in aid of the project:

Heather Small will be performing at the Blue Sky Village, Mandela Remembered, Gala Dinner & Concert, on Friday 18th July 2014, at the Roundhouse, London. Heather will also perform the Nelson Mandela Tribute Song "The Messenger" with Joan Armatrading and special guests. Other performers on the night include Alexandra Burke and Kenny Jones.
