Heather Small | 2009 Tour

In May 2009 Heather Small went on tour and  played at 12 venues across the UK. She was accompanied by the Snake Davis band. The tour showcased her vocal talent with a mixture of blues and jazz standards and the greatest and best-loved hits from her own solo material and her days with M People. In November of that year she took the tour to another 15 venues across the UK! In March 2009 Heather showcased the set list at the Indig02. After the death of Michael Jackson Heather added 'Rock With You' to her second part of her tour.

   'After selling several million records, winning two BRIT awards and the Mercury Music Prize, performing across the globe, Heather Small is set to return to the stage in 2009.
  As part of M People, with hits such as Moving On Up, One Night in Heaven and Search For The Hero, Heather became one of the seminal British voices of the 1990s, with the band winning the Best British Dance Act award at the BRITs in 1994 and 1995, as well as the Mercury Music Prize. 
  Heather has spent the autumn on our television screens every Saturday and Sunday night in the hit-series Strictly Come Dancing. At The Anvil, Heather will showcase her vocal talent with a mixture of blues and jazz standards and the greatest and best-loved hits from her own solo material and her days with M People.'
 

Support Act

Flutist 'Lucy Noble' and her band 'Andi Skipsey, Ben Eales and Simon Hargreaves' were the support act for the Heather Small 2009 Tour. Lucy performed for half an hour, playing her own take on classical and latin songs. Her set included 'Mas Que Nada' and the James Bond Theme 'Live And Let Die'.
